Hello,  Sorry it has been a while.  I have been busy getting ready for the upcoming TOB season.  I accepted the band director position at Ephrata High School.  MZB alumni...Ann McElwain will be helping out with the guard this year...she'll do a great job.  Make sure you guys catch a performance this year.

Also, as you can imagine...waiting to be a dad is extremely nerve racking...I'm just trying to make sure everything is in order for when Carly makes her appearance...talk to you all soon.

Well, It is official.  I am now the band director of a soon to be named high school.   I am so unbelievably excited, it isn't even funny.  Leaving teaching was the hardest thing I ever did....besides firing Mr. Broshak.

Thank you guys for all the kind words.  Believe it or not, you had a lot to do with me getting this job.  I used many of the recordings and videos from my years a Whitehall....you rock

I might be in need of some techs.....anyone interested?  I have to get my budget together and all that initial stuff, but let me know if you are at least want to be considered.

All right, Thanks for the comments from everyone.  It is great to see you guys are doing well.  I'll post baby pictures when she arrives.

On another note...(ha, no stupid band pun intended), I am hopefully returning to a career as a band director.  I've made the final round of interviews for 3 schools (1, I definitely did not get).  I miss it, I miss the students, I miss sharing my love for music with great young adults like you guys.

If any of you ever need anything...contacts, reference, anything, don't hesitate to ask.
